The Washington Alliance for Better Schools is a non-profit corporation in the State of Washington and is a recognized 501(c)(3) with the educational purpose to improve student achievement in schools in the State of Washington. The Washington Alliance is a partnership of many of the Puget Sound school districts, serving over 286,000 students. The Washington Alliance partnership was formed in 1995 to meet the needs of all students in our member school districts in their quest for academic achievement as set forth by Washington's 1993 school reform legislation.
