Elementary Dance Curriculum

This guide represents a collaborative effort of teachers and dance specialists from several school districts across the Puget Sound Region. It's purpose is to provide a bare-bones working model for the K-5 level, based on current Washington State Standards, for the Arts and the Dance Framework from O.S.P.I. supported by both the Washington State Arts Commission and the Washington Alliance for Better Schools. This manual exists as a model for districts throughout the state for use in developing and implementing standards based Dance and Creative Movement curriculum for the non-specialist elementary classroom teacher (K-5)
